Suburban Glasgow для Train Simulator
Welcome to Suburban Glasgow Phase 6.0!
Many thanks to both Thomson Interactive and Milepost Simulations for permission to include their products in this merged route. Please note that, due to Suburban Glasgow using the original Kuju textures, I have had to retexture routes that are merged in to use the same texture set. This may give some of the routes a different "look" than supplied out the box!
This route contains (as of the pre-Phase 6 release):
- For the North Clyde Line, Airdrie to Helensburgh Central, including the branches to Springburn, Milngavie and Balloch (with the detail pack). Both lines through Singer and Yoker are included. Bellgrove to Airdrie also requires the detail pack.
- The Maryhill Line
- The West Highland Line in its entirety, from a combination of WHL South, WHL Extension and the UKTS Oban Line
- All of the WCML North route from the Glasgow area and a newly reworked Argyle Line.
- All of the Cathcart Circle and Newton branch (and Neilston with the Detail Pack)
- Some of the East Kilbride line (to Clarkston). All of the line to Barrhead with the detail pack
- Some of Glasgow Airport Rail Link, but not the airport link itself
- the Edinburgh to Glasgow route, including the extensions by Darren Porter to Carstairs and Stirling
- a few other bits and pieces!
Thanks to Darren Porter and Michael Hamilton for permission to use the Haymarket-Carstairs and Oban lines in this merge.
Further information:
- check out my blog on http://glasgow-north-clyde-lines.blogspot.co.uk/
- download the detail pack from www.suburban-glasgow.org.uk
- if you download and enjoy this route then please visit the website above and view the charity list at the bottom of the main page!
I very strongly recommend installing the detail pack that is available. It's free and, although takes a bit of time to get working (the first time at least), does make a huge difference to the route.
*IMPORTANT* If you install the detail pack then be sure to unsubscribe to this Workshop route first or else it will be overwritten.
This is the outcome of six years' work, so if you like this route, please leave a comment!
