Historical accurate castle maps for campaign.
Save game compatible. Fall of the Samurai compatible. Darthmod compatible. Radious Mod compatible. Expanded compatible.
Compatible with any mod except other map mods(such as MOSS maps, Better maps etc.)
Does not work with other map mods!
IMPORTANT: Because of the complex castle layouts, when player is defending on some of the maps the units such as: General or cavalry will spawn in the middle of the map underground! Make sure you move them inside BEFORE clicking start battle! All units must be inside the walls in the deployment phase! This issue is only for the player, AI does not have this issue!
Tip: For better unit placement first place the units near the walls you want to defend using 1 click and not dragging a line(during the deployment phase). After you click start battle if you want to position them in a line, draw the line and re-position them only after the battle has started! The units position better after you click start battle then during the deployment phase!
COOP Version: Download
-Use this version if you want to play COOP. Read readme file
- 36 total Historical Castles available in Campaign.
How the maps load on campaign:
-There are 7 types of settlements each with 5 levels(fort, stronghold, fortress, castle and citadel). Each type and level has a different map. When you upgrade the settlement you get a different map.
You must have all 5 parts.

Update 04.09.2020
- Added map variation for bigger campaign maps such as Expanded mod (Expanded adds a lot of new castles but all the new ones load the same map, this is now fixed and you will see different maps more often)
- Added new map Ueda castle (also availabe in custom battle)
- Castle level 1 and level 2 (fort and stronghold) now have Archery towers instead of matchlock.
- Kyoto Heian map has been added to a separate mod (load it together with all mods to have it back)
Update 02.08.2020
-Kyoto map has been replaced with a smaller version that is more historically accurate and reflects the city during the sengoku period(The old map was the Heian period Kyoto). The new version has no walls(city is surrounded by moats), also no capture point (could not decide where to place it).
-Fixed units getting stuck on walls for: Aki castle, Hamamatsu castle and Komoro castle.
Update 11.08.2019
- All maps now available on custom battle(only 1v1 for now). Custom maps have the prefix [SOTS]
- Moved deployment zones for attacker on all siege maps. Castles are no longer surrounded by enemy.
- Deployment zone moved further away from the castle.
- Fixed pathing and added 3 new maps (Tsutsujigasaki, Osakura and Sugiyama castle)

-Fixed the gate where units get stuck inside on kofu-dai castle map
-Fixed small sections of the walls where units had some trouble after climbing.

-Fixed small portions of the walls that were not climbable on the following maps: Shirakawa; Castle2; Iwamura; Gassan. Thanks to noelwym for finding the spots.
