Dear Steam Community

This mod is an update of the old All factions unlocked mod. It makes all 115 factions of the Grand Campaign playable in campaign as well as in custom battles. Of course, credit goes to the authors of the original mod.

Note: You won't have a family tree when playing with unlocked factions (startpos editing for GC is broken). To play with DLC factions you need to buy that DLC.

You can change turns per year buy subscribing to on of the add-ons listed below. There are also two other mods that unlock Imperator Augusts and Caesar in Gaul.

Compatibility

This mod changes the Grand Campaign startpos and is not compatible with other mods that do so, e.g. mods that change turns per year. Campaign overhauls are usually not compatible with a mod like this. Please check your other mods before complaining the factions aren't unlocked! However, it should work with almost every other mod, even with mods that change another campaign's startpos. Turns per year add-ons can be find under the links above. Note: Turns per year cannot be changed on a running campaign.

The mod works in multiplayer campaigns. If you and your partner have the same mods activated you'll be able to play with unlocked factions in your multiplayer campaign.

Conflict with new launcher

Several users seem to have problems with this mod using the new TW launcher. If you're one of them: At the moment I recommend to simply use the old launcher. You can switch back through the BETA options in steam. This may help anyone who has problems with the mod, I also use it myself.
