No Civil War для Total War: ROME II - Emperor Edition
Removed the Civil War Event for every faction.
Not latest patch compatible - As i have no money left to buy the DLC i cant mod and test it. Feel free to support me with a DLC - Steam Gift. After getting it I can guarantee to update this mod immediately.
For the desperated ones: There is no magic in making this mod on your own. All you need to do is to change a value in database as described below.
Save game compatible.
(The mod should turn off the possibility of a civil war break out whenever the mod is activated. No matter if the mod is activated from start or a save game. If not please let me know)
1)
download: steam\library\tools\Total War: ROME II - Assembly Kit BETA
2)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\assembly_kit\binaries (the path could be different)
run TWeak.AssemblyKit.exe
->Tools
->DAVE - DAtabase Visual Editor (Yes at warning)
->View
->Table Launcher
3)
choose the table of your choice and change the values that have to be changed in your opinion
e.g campaign_variables: you can find civil war triggers there
->"Apply" Button (you can change as many tables as you want)
4)
->Export
->export single tables
(for changes referring to the startpos.esf e.g. turns per year: ->export changes to binary)
->Locally edited Tables: select all tables shown
-> ">" Button
-> "Export" Button
close TWeak.AssemblyKit.exe (Yes at warning)
5)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\assembly_kit\binaries:
run BOB.AssemblyKit.exe
(for changes referring to the startpos.esf e.g. turns per year mark the select box "startpos.esf" at middle column "working data": campaigns\main rome\startpos.esf in the field provider actions
->"Start" button and repeat 5) by skipping this)
mark the select box "data" at right column "Retail"
-> "Start" Button
-> "Exit" Button on pop up window

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\assembly_kit\retail\data
here you got your mod.pack file, rename it if you want to
copy the file to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\data
7)
now you can start the rome 2 launcher and instead of running the game choose the mod administration instead
there is shown your mod now, select it and start Rome II
Optional:
8)
to publish the mod via steam work shop just open the image editing program of your choice and make a image of 256x256px (size is important)
name it like your .pack file and copy this image to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\data
(make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is deactivated on windows explorer)
9)
start the rome 2 launcher and instead of running the game choose the mod administration instead
there is shown your mod with the image you created
-> "Upload" Button
maybe an error warning appears in your browser just ignore it and have a look at your steam account
10)
watch your steam profile
->right column
->workshop objects
->click at your mod you want to publish
->you are now at your specific mod administration window:
you are able to give a title, description, to relate photos/videos and so on
->and finally you can change the visibility to public
