AAM Lynx-Class FAC Mk. I Mod 6 для Space Engineers
AAM Lynx-Class FAC Mk. I Mod 6
This is a modification of Dwarf-Lord Pangolin's Lynx Fast Attack Craft. Be sure to check it out!
The Lynx is a lightly armored fast attack craft (FAC) which serves as a force multiplier for a fleet. Small, fast, and nimble, the Lynx can deliver a massive blow to an enemy's capital ships without the hefty price tag of a frigate like the Caspian. The Lynx comes equipped with 3 kinetic torpedoes that can be reloaded by using the built in projector system (welders not included, sorry!). Each torpedo is capable of penetrating 5+ layers of heavy armour; a salvo to the nerve-center of any ship could prove to be devastating!

Tips and Tricks
- Optimal distance for starting an attack run on a turreted target from a full stop is around 2000 meters. This gives you plenty of space to accelerate and make necessary adjustments before release.
- Be sure to toggle reverse thrust (Hotkey 3 on toolbar) before starting your approach. This will allow you to keep dampeners on without slowing down!
- It is recommended that you release no closer than 1100 meters away from your target as this is the closest you can release and remain out of the 800 meter turret range! (this assumes no maneuvering is done after the release)
- Changing your vector after release is also recommended; your enemies will not be happy with you for leaving 3 nice clean holes in their shiny new vessels! This vessel is pretty quick, use it to get out of dodge!
- Try to make sure that you have little to no lateral drift before release; this will make the kinetic torpedos much more accurate. Also I suggest not breaking your approach vector until you can plainly see that the projectiles have cleared their release points.
