An announcement…
With this patch, this concludes our plans for the mod, in other words, it’s finally in a state we’d consider “finished.” We will still be interacting with the community, and uploading content, but they will be centered mostly on bugfixing, and smaller additions, when we have time. I never expected this mod to grow this much since I first published it nearly 5 years ago, but I hope everyone has enjoyed playing it as much as our team had creating it, it’s been great.
As for the team, we’re moving onto bigger things: game development. We’ll be designing our own game, bringing the gameplay of Spearhead into new territory. We have a long road ahead of us, and we’ll be sure to let you guys know when we have something worth presenting.

Error 183
We do not have a proper stability fix at this time. This seems to be an RAM issue that has started occurring since the last Relic patch, likely due to the game not utilizing enough of the computer's RAM, coupled with the (past) edits we made to the AI. That said, we will continue to see if we can find any solutions.
Recommendations:
1. Avoid playing 4v4 matches.
2. Do not playing with popcap over 150.
3. Restart your game after 1-2 matches.
4. Avoid using cluttered or highly detailed-maps.

- Play only vanilla maps or maps that well-optimized.

GAMEPLAY FEATURES
★ Deadlier Weapons: Greatly increased weapon damage and range across the board. Anything and everything has a potential chance to kill if used correctly. Automatic weapons can tear through multiple targets, artillery can pulverize multiple squads if left unchecked.
★ New Units: More units available such as the 3.7cm Pak 36, or the Bazooka-wielding Anti-Tank Squad for Americans. No faction will be left out entirely in a certain playstyle, such as defense, or tank combat, but neither do they all function the same.
★ Redesigned Combat: Infantry is a game of tactics, you as the commander are responsible for their survival in battle. Armor combat is a much more dangerous game. The tank with the better gun or thicker armor will quickly splatter the smaller tank, using coordinated attacks and flanking is crucial, especially for Allied tanks. Accuracy may be effected by movement, crew experience, while reload times may depend on the placement of the ammunition storage within the tank.
★ Doctrines: These are available as a means to provide more flexibility and options over the vanilla commanders in the form of abilties that complement playstyle, new units, and more. Choosing a doctrine (Company, Regiments, Tactics, Division, Corps, resepectively.) from the HQ is recommended.
